A beautiful personal branding session for a food photographer in Amsterdam

Native from South Africa but living in the Netherlands 'almost forever', Gail is the inspiring culinary expert behind " Galley of Gail".

On her mouth-watering food blog, Gail shares delicious recipes and captures her dishes in minimalist yet alluring pictures.

She contacted me as she needed professional portrait photographs of herself to illustrate her website and her new professional activities.

As a personal branding photographer based in Amsterdam, my mission is to understand the communication needs and the brand image of my clients and to translate those concepts into images. Before the shoot, I used my expertise as a branding photographer to suggest outfits to Gail. After a phone consultation and the creation of a concept board, I welcomed Gail for a branding photoshoot at my studio in Amsterdam West. We created an environment that reflected her brand personality and colors and I guided her through natural poses and made sure to create a safe environment for her to be comfortable in front of my lens.

The result: a cohesive gallery of personal branding images that my client can use on social medias and her website to promote her business.
