A marriage proposal in Amsterdam is a once in a lifetime experience so getting this magical moment captured by a professional couple photographer is a must.
Léa and Delphin are a french couple who planned a weekend to Amsterdam for their 10 year relationship anniversary. They contacted me to book a love shoot as they really enjoyed my authentic and candid photography style. After a consultation call, we agreed on a date and a beautiful location in the city center of Amsterdam. Little did I know that this couple photoshoot would turn into a DOUBLE proposal !
In the weeks preceding the photoshoot, both Delphin and Léa contacted me to share their intention to surprise their partner with a proposal during the photoshoot. As a professional engagement photographer, I planned separately with each partner the exact location and time of the proposal and provided tips on ring storage, cues leading to the proposal...etc.
On the day of the engagement photoshoot, we met and shot a few photos before heading to the location I had planned for the proposal. Delphin was the first to drop on one knee to Léa's surprise THEN Léa completely shocked her lover by proposing too. It was a moment full of raw emotion and love that I adored capturing as a candid photographer. Can an Amsterdam Engagement be any more magical?
